Welcome to the web page of Stephania Magri, (aka Stevie), and I am an Elite cyclist from Malta. I am coached by Steve Wright, head coach at Dragon Cycle Coaching in the UK, who works out my training and racing schedules. We work well as a team, and we have recently been working on my Time Trialling skills, resulting in a change of position on my bike, and a win in the Coast Time Trial last February, over here in Malta.

I am a member of the Melita Pedal Power Cycling Club where I am also the P.R.O. Details of the club and its members can be found on their website www.melitacyclingclub.com . That’s me, last one on the right in team kit, in the cool white shoes. It is my Cannondale race bike featured in the picture. I am the current Maltese National Road Race Champion.

Being Maltese means that I need to travel to get some good racing, so I have been visiting England regularly where the fields are much larger than back home. I race with Team QCP in the Women’s Team Series, and for my club, Melita Pedal Power, when competing as an individual. Below are some pictures of me and the Team, also featuring Jon Miles our DS, and Steve, the Team Mechanic, Team Car Driver, and sometimes our masseur. (And my coach!!)

I am also into XC MTB racing, and am the current Maltese XC MTB National Champion. I really enjoy my Mountain Bike and have raced in Wales last year in the Dragon Series, where I won the Sports Category race. I also competed in one round of the NPS, narrowly missing the podium, being just beaten to the line and settling for fourth place.

I am back in Malta at the moment where I am finishing my thesis, and my degree, at the University here, but I will be back in the UK in July, ready to begin some serious racing.
